Reeze Telling
Founder, Head Coach, and Director
With a lifelong passion for cricket, Reeze combines high-level playing experience with years of coaching to mentor and develop players at all stages of their journey.
Playing Experience:
12th man for South Africa vs. Zimbabwe in a Test match (2005), learning from the very best under Coach Ray Jennings and sharing the dressing room with South African cricket heroes.
Represented Eastern Province at various age levels (U13 to U19).
Premier Division player for Gelvandale Cricket Club, Northerns Cricket Club, Port Elizabeth Cricket Club, and Heatherbank Cricket Club.
First-Class Cricket, playing in the South African First-Class League against top provincial and visiting international teams.
Represented the Nova Scotia Men’s Provincial Team (2017–2018) as a player-coach, where they won the Eastern T20 Championship and Maritime Cup Championship.
Coaching Journey:
Transitioned into coaching at 24 years old after his playing career.
Served on the Eastern Province U16 Selection Panel.
Coached the Eastern Province High Performance U15 & U17 teams.
Head Coach of the Gelvandale Cricket Hub, scouting and nurturing young talent in the Northern Areas of Port Elizabeth.
Head Coach of the Gelvandale Cricket Academy, Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Head Coach of Nova Scotia’s Provincial Team (2017), guiding them to multiple championship wins.
Head Coach of Nova Scotia Provincial Junior U17 Team (2025), guiding them to their first championship win
Assistant Coach, Montreal Tigers Global T20 Canada in 2024.
Coached at Dave Callaghan Cricket Academy and Youth Cricket Academy in Port Elizabeth, as well as Gelvandale Cricket Club and Port Elizabeth Cricket Club.
Served as a Canadian National Selector for three consecutive years.
